I have been involved in photography in some way or another most of my life. My first encounter with a camera came at the early age of six while on holiday with my parents in Weymouth in the 1950’s. I spotted a ‘VP Twin’ in Woolworth’s. I persuaded my father to buy it for me and he reluctantly parted with the three shillings (15 pence) it cost then, plus a roll of 127 film.
